My son, Joshua was coached by both head coaches Pat Sutcliffe and Ricky Owen for over two years. It is in no small part down to these guys that Josh has progressed to sign for the Gillingham Acadamy at U9 level. Both Josh and myself loved his time at PACE and couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Our academy gives players of all abilities the opportunity to develop technically, mentally and socially. We have development squads and elite squads at each age group who play matches against grassroots teams and other academies, including some professional football clubs. Any academy matches are always arranged against suitable teams, only at elite squad level do teams play against professional clubs. We also provide opportunities for all players to have coaching sessions in other venues at professional clubs and take part in international tours.
Players will usually be invited into development squads so that we can assess their level, although at times players can be invited to train with any group within our academy system.
There is no interference with local club football and players who attend the academy sessions still remain with their own clubs. We always try to support local clubs by signposting any unattached players.
Our main focus is player development and enjoyment, and we want to help all players reach their own potential and highest level in the game possible. Our academy coaching team includes UEFA A, UEFA B and FA Level 2 coaches, all with vast experience in the professional game.
Our elite squads do play against other academy teams and various professional clubs, all of whom provide an extremely challenging playing environment. However we do not guarantee that anyone will play against pro clubs, and if fixtures are arranged, they will usually only be for our elite squads. This opportunity allows our best players to compete against the best opposition, and sometimes offers the opportunity for players to move on to these clubs in some capacity.
Since my son has played for Pace his football skills have improved amazingly.
Professionally run, friendly academy offering a very high level of coaching. Owen loves attending the academy sessions on a Monday night. Thank you to everyone at Pace for all your hard work and dedication.
We have 2 boys who have been part of the Pace academy for the last 18 months. Both boys have significantly improved their football skills and attitude to the game, this is down to the training and professionalism of all the coaches. As parents we couldn't hope for better, all of the team are approachable and go out of their way to develop your child. The boys thoroughly enjoy every session.
Shane loves learning new session then practicing them in the games at the end. He also loves playing a high standard of football against other academy's.

Soccer Schools (4-13yrs)
We have a well established philosophy which ensures all children have a fantastic experience on our soccer schools! Fun and enjoyment goes hand in hand with player development. Learning and personal progression is at the forefront of what we do, and is achieved through our excellent coaching team. The majority of children come back to us time and again, 96% in fact, which is an indication of the enjoyment that children experience on our courses. We have been recognised by the Kent FA having been awarded 'gold status' under their soccer school award scheme. The award is designed to ensure that the highest possible standards are in place and maintained at Kent based Soccer Schools and that the safety and well being of the players is paramount.
The courses focus on skills development, fun games - and of course plenty of matches, including a mock World Cup tournament on the final day, with the winning team receiving medals. Every participant receives a gift, and there are also other prizes and awards to be won over the duration of each course. Book places for our Soccer Schools in our online shop.
